The messaging system is not brutal, learn to deal with it or you'll be cutting off part of the league and that won't be good for your organization

It would be good to understand what you think is problematic with the PM system. It isn't great for real-time negotiations but about 50% of my deals are done through PM. And some of our GMs can't use the Kakao talk.
It is a requirement that our GMs use the PM system and check it daily. So please let us know what is getting in the way.

On that topic why did we leave Google Talk? I'm still on there and still talk to some GMs there.

I always reply above the quoted text because otherwise after a few messages you have to scroll through up to 100's of lines of text as it gets compressed into a narrower and narrower field, which can be a major pain on a device. Whereas if you reply on top, it's right there when you open it up. Seems more logical to me, but didn't realize some like it at the bottom.

I've seen people reply above and below, and replied above and below too.
Above is cool for a quick reply, but what if it's an old convo and you have to scroll down anyway to see where you left off anyway?
Replying below quoted text makes way more sense.
Also...I like both Gmail and Kakao but much prefer Kakao for using on my phone.

I don't know about that. I've been on it and have talked to other GMs there (I'm talking about opening your Gmail and using Hangout in your mail). I know couple other GMs who have accessed it from different devices. Still works fine for us.

Cool. Folks can continue to use it then as another way to get in touch.
PM is mandatory.
Folks can then choose whatever secondary one they want to use - though most seem to be on Kakao talk.
