I would have just plainly said "yes".

I'm the same way, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've used the bathroom on a plane, and I fly a lot. I also think for some people it's an excuse to walk around, there's no way these peoples bladders are that small

People get nervous and hence go to the bathroom a lot. I get it, but don't book a window then.

My biggest complaint is when people recline their seat for the entire flight and then sit up right/lean forward. That is just being beyond dickish.

As a 6'3" guy, I hate reclined seats in general, but the worst is when people leave their seats back during meal service.

My other big annoyance is when a couple book an aisle seat and a window seat and talk over me for the entire flight. I get that the middle seat sucks and neither of you want to sit there, but it sucks even more when 2 people are having a conversation around you for the entire flight.

Anti-recliners are so god damn annoying. The 3" behind my seat is my space. The 3" behind the seat in front of me is the person in front of me's space.

People who complain do so mostly out of hoity toity "don't invade my space" principles, not discomfort.

I'm 6'4" and most of that is leg.

People in front of me can't physically recline. Instead, they will bash straight into my knees. Sometimes several times thinking their seat is jammed. It's awesome when I was sleeping so it takes me a second to get their attention to stop ramming me.

I also can't see the in flight entertainment screens when the seat is reclined as they don't angle up enough. I can't even watch a bloody movie.

Seat reclining is awful.

The winner for me though? Someone doing their nail polish on a flight. That seriously happened. It was a couple rows away from me and awful. I kept waiting for a flight attendant to vilify them, but nothing.

You sound very tall so you get a pass. Anyone under 6'6" does not.

As a relatively tall person, reclining really helps me stay comfortable on a flight. Those couple degrees of recline plus stretch my legs out helps get the body stretched out a bit and lay a touch more prone. Don't think I could get by without it.

For me it's people who bring fast food burgers onto a plane. Not only does that smell permeate throughout the whole plane, it's an odor i'd rather not have to smell for the rest of my flight.

I had no idea that so many people were against reclining and I fly at least twice a month. I don't have a problem with it.

The worst are people who remove their shoes during the flight. It's sickening. What would posses someone to do that?

In regards to seats, I'd be ok if the airlines lowered them a degree or so, and then just locked them in place. I usually don't recline much, but when the guy in front of you goes fully-reclined and the seat is now jammed up to your face, you inevitably want to create some room for yourself, and then it dominoes.

I just got off a flight, and what bothers me most though is people, who know, or apparently just don't care, that you should raise your seat during meal-service. Eating at that angle is a pain in the ass.

I'm 6'4 and have no problem with recliners.

Didn't realize people had such a problem with it. Must be people who aren't used to being squished. Being tall, it happens every time I get in a car. So ya, no problem at all with recliners in front of me on a plane.

I must have sat beside you recently. I booked early, but was put in a middle seat. I was shocked there were still people like you. I fondly recall the hour and a half non-verbal battle I had with you to claim my other armrest. You and your smug ability to stretch your legs and not have both shoulders rubbing against strangers. Fortunately my iron bladder won me the war.

As for people that have to get up a lot. I don't mind. People have their reasons, and if I have aisle that responsibility comes part and parcel. Also, we all know it's good to stand, so I figure it is forced doctor-recommended actions.
However, those that get up can not be grabbing other's seats. That is criminal. Also, no eating stinky outside food.

If the seat offers a reclining function, I'm going to use it. That said I do bring it back up for meal service.

That's the advantage of having long legs. I can get my knee to a position when my foot is flat on the floor and I'm still comfortable, but the seat in front can't recline. Since the seat won't even move, people probably just assume the button is broken or the seats on that plane don't recline.

For me its the seat recliner folks.

The seats arent designed nor spaced for the seats to recline and not have a negative impact on the passenger to the back.

Thats why every flight for me, the first 30 minutes is about seat domination where I put my knees close enough to the seat in front that if it tries to recline will hit my knees. Its an uncomfortable 30 minutes but well worth it.

Any time I can, I sit last row, on the aisle. Removes most of these issues. Plus, I usually let most other people get off the plane first anyway, so I can just sit back and read for another 15 minutes while people stand in aisles and grumble.
