I think he was trying to fire off across for Toews who was the forecheck. It's not the wrong play, but you have to get it past the defence of you're in the middle of the ice. Flipping it in made more sense

I get that a lot of you are still upset the Ducks knocked is out, and so am I, but watching them all playoffs I've grown to really like their team (other than Perry and Kesler). I hope they win it all this year! One more win and Chicago is going home! Go Ducks!
