Good, he's an #######. Throwing Ted Nolan under the bus was total BS.

Tim Graham @ByTimGraham
Sabres livid for way Babcock handled past few days. Sabres so confident he was coming that they were prepared for Monday news conference.

So who still needs a coach, and who is available?

Since they were talking with Babcock, I'm assuming St. Louis is moving on from Hitchcock? Then there's New Jersey, Detroit, San Jose, Buffalo.. am I missing anyone?

Most likely, but I would imagine that is easily solved if Babcock wanted it.

"I want $50+ million over eight or nine years"
Pegula: "Done"
"And I don't like Tim Murray. Fire him."
Pegula: "Done. Can I shine your shoes as well, sir?"

Would put a lot of money on Jeff Bashill being named the new coach of the Red Wings.

Has Edmonton's hiring of McLellan been made official yet? If not, he might want to see what Buff will offer...?

I missed the Oiler press conference. Is it normal to give the coach a jersey with his name on it? I don't seem to recall it being the norm.

Maybe he is going to suit up and play defense or goalie.

Crazy term and money for Babcock, good for him.

Also, the whole Sabres organization can take a hike and I am happy they missed out on Connor and Babcock. What a bunch of tankers.

PS. I also hate Edmonton got Connor as well so don't get me wrong.

Eakins is available, and he's already used to being told he sucks. Welcome to Buffalo.

Called it from the start, was obvious to me as I said in the other thread that TML were always his destination.

Yeah this will get interesting especially when the team hits a losing skid. The Toronto media feeds off that stuff.
