Erick...I feel that Crawford doesn't get much credit because of his style...more positional than acrobatic...he just doesn't trigger awe.

luckily that was a 6:15 local start so the crowd were still around and out of there before midnight. When Chicago played Nashville in the first round that game started at 8:45 and I think when Seabrook scored it was 1:30ish.

Glad to see the Hawks win, let's hope they win the next three.
Any thoughts on the Ducks goonery during game 2? I knew they are a dirty team but some of those hits, especially in the first period (the ones the drew penalties) were astonishing.
The hit on Crawford was interesting as well. Since when is it okay to go after a goalie (even if Crawford leaned into it)?

How awesome would it have been if they had allowed the header goal in second OT? Lol

I wasn't clear on the rule in regards to using your head because quite frankly you never see that but as soon as I saw the replay I knew they were going to reverse the call. Would have been a pretty lame way to end the game.

Between the 1st and 2nd period, last night, NBC analyst, Mike Milbury, went off on the officiating...
Usually I find Milbury to be a tool, but I was amused that he called out on the Refs for not hammering Stoner...The 'Hawks should have had a 6 or 7 minute PP there...Kruger was bleeding after going into the Boards, so that was a double minor at the minimum, or a major due to the blatant disregard for player safety...then he should have clearly been tagged for the roughing on Shaw, as Milbury pointed out...gutless officiating set the tone for Duck goonery, and this DID effect game flow...
Kudos to a usual tool for calling out the NHL on this crap.

Maroon scores on a deflection on the power play, 1-0 Ducks. Hossa was in the penalty box.

I said it during our series but holy crap do the Ducks block a TON of shots. They throw themselves in the way of EVERYTHING.

Make sure you have two oxygen tanks beside you, water, IV, and other essentials. I think this will go to overtime again.

What a goal. The Hawks look scrambly and disorganized, I hope they get it tightened up.
At the moment though, Quenville is leaning hard on his horses and his Top 4 Dmen look like its starting to take its toll.

That was a terrific first period, great penalty killing by the Ducks and Kane has magic hands.
Thank goodness for TVA Sports, the first intermission is not all about Mike Babcock.

I thought you werent allowed to grab a stick from the bench on the fly? I remember Crosby did it once and I thought play was stopped for some reason.
As much as I hate Perry that was an amazing play.

Kane doesn't even look like he's trying out there...where's the intensity? Guess that's what 2 cups will do.

Did I just see a stick throwing that could have been a penalty shot?
Edit, never mind, it was a dumb play by Perry but upon further review the stick didn't effect the play.
