I have been a Patriots fan since Brady took over as starter in 2001, but I just hang my head in shame on this deflator/weight loss rebuttal. Oh my...
Even in the unlikely event it was true , anyone with common sense should know it would be impossible to convince the NFL world of this and best to not even bother.
The shame is the rest of the rebuttal has some good points, but this will obviously get all the attention.

You're right, because now Goodell is personally hearing the appeal.
As predicted by many, it will turn into a pissing match.

the idea that goodell can preside over the appeal is so comical.

Wow, Robert Kraft has announced that Pats will not appeal and will accept penalty.
I don't believe this changes anything with the NFLPA appeal of Brady suspension.

Seeing Kraft has now accepted the punishment it would probably be best for Brady to do so as well as he stands to lose a lot more than he stands to gain if he has to submit his phone records and fully cooperate. As for Kraft he did the best thing here seeing there's ample evidence that a Patriots employee/s removed the balls from the possession of the officials prior to kick off. All an appeal would have done is brought out more dirt and been a black eye for everyone involved.
However if Brady does appeal it's probably a sign that Kraft worked out a deal with Goodell in that he would back down if the NFL reduced the Brady suspension in an appeal.

Nobody to blame but the NFLPA for agreeing to those terms in the CBA.

Ya, Im pretty sure there is a backdoor deal going on here. If Pats agree to withdraw team appeal, the NFLPA appeal will be successful in reducing Brady suspension. My guess is down to 1 or 2 games.

The extra point rule for 2015 just changed. Snap for kick from the 15-yard line, 2-pt try stays at 2-yard line and defense can return.

It's a great change. Should lead to more 2 point trys.
They should make the field goal posts narrower as well.

Should just have him and Lawrence Phillips share a cell and see who comes out alive.

Hopefully not, but they should adopt the CFL restraining zone rules for punts so that there is actually a play of some kind instead of the too frequent fair catch.

I'll take watching a punter try and backspin a ball, with a bunch of dudes freaking out to get it down on the 1-yard line over a "no yards" penalty every day of the week.
