This is some pretty dominant offensive hockey from Canada.

I know it's not popular, but I like Taylor Hall.

Canada is really playing a cohesive team game.
Even compared to the flashy Russians, Canada's speed and skill are rather noticeable.
Although seemingly over-matched to this point, I fully expect the Russians to mount a strong push here... that is, unless they unravel completely.

When he's wearing red & white I agree with you!
It seems apparent to me that he excels when he isn't the de facto saviour / superstar / leader of the team (or even his line). He seems able to lift his play to the level of those around him (as opposed to lifting the play of those around him, arguably).

Or when he plays in a structured system with a decent coach. He's got a ton of raw talent, just hasn't had the guidance or support to put it all together.
And now McLellan is going to be his coach.. crap

This is the perfect type of game for him. He can just attack without any consideration of defence because the Russians aren't generating a thing.
That period was basically Canada vs. the Oilers.

Comprehensive victory.
Team Canada has looked good on international ice lately, haven't they?
Maybe I shouldn't be surprised by their impact, but all of Canada's unsung youth really impressed me this tournament ... guys like Ennis, Eakin, Toffoli and Couturier up front and Ekblad, Muzzin and Wiercioch on the blue line didn't look out of place at all on the big ice against (many of) the best in the world.
Great win!
