Hemsky might not be retained in lieu of Jurco or another cheaper option. It will solely depend on how much each of Palat, Brown, Hemsky, McNabb, Petry, Eakin, Stanton and Raanta will cost to re-sign.

I like to get my homework done quickly, and I'd like to thank both Cheese and Turdferguson to help me jettison nearly 12 million in salary off the roster.

Good looking roster. Seems like your Bjugstad trade was solid for the organization. How did you acquire Nyquist and Palat?

Palat - Free Agent Signing

Nyquist - I traded Steve Eminger and David Dzuirzynski to LA for Nyquist and some filler guy, I think it was Paul Mara. At the time it was a 3 OV downgrade.

Not a bad lineup. Really like the top 9, will have to find a good 4/5 D-man after the draft. Not sure who I'll keep between Hemsky and Brown, may come down to $. I'd prefer Brown but I don't know exactly what will work. If the dollars are there, I'll keep both and re-assign Nieto to the AHL. I should be fighting for top spot in the conference.
