knowing people that have worked at both my impression is the Tim's employees are just lazy sometimes and do not change the filters or the grinds. Instead of taking the 10 seconds to swap things out they'll just hit the button, it explains why sometimes the coffee tastes like watered down garbage.

- While whisking constantly, slowly add the hot milk to the flour mixture until evenly combined and smooth. (It will get very thick when you first add the milk, then thin out.)
- Return the saucepan to medium-high heat and while whisking constantly, cook until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon, about 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in 1 tablespoon of the salt, taste, and season with additional salt if desired. Remove from the heat and set aside.
To assemble:- Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and cook until it’s almost al dente (just on the edge of being underdone), then drain and rinse with cold water; set aside. (If you plan to top the mac ‘n’ cheese with panko and bake it, heat the oven to 400°F and arrange a rack in the middle.)
- Place the reserved saucepan of béchamel over medium heat and stir in both cheeses just until melted and smooth. Add the pasta and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is heated through and steaming, about 2 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately or, if baking, transfer to a 5-quart baking dish, sprinkle with the panko, and bake until bubbling and brown on top, about 25 to 30 minutes.

I find KD turns out perfectly at this elevation by cooking the noodles for 9 minutes. No more than that.

To add to this: old dutch has way more ketchup density when you buy box pack with two bags in it from co-op. The small 1 dollar bags are alright but for some reason the large bags tend to be barren and white with very little ketchup powder. In my experience anyway.

Why don't you just get the McDonalds app for your phone? The coupons are there and you can use them over and over.

Which flavours of lays are better? Their salt and viniger taste chemically, their sour cream and onion are off..Dill Pickle is lacking dill...Old Dutch is better in every flavour I know.

It's extremely unlikely they actually did a study on that.

Anyone over the age of 12 who eats kraft slices voluntarily is a bad person.
KD protips: - Use half the suggested milk.
- Cook until not quite done, drain, add the milk, and then finish cooking.
- Add small pieces of sliced ham.
- Add a teaspoon of dijon mustard.

The second type of girl from which I have always steered clear is a cheese-slice girl. Unlike a ketchup-chip girl, however, I myself don't like cheese slices so a cheese-slice girl is a notch below a ketchup-chip girl. While I have never actually seen a cheese-slice girl with a cheese slice, I imagine she'd smell like one, would perhaps have some cheese slice mushed into her cuticles from wrapping a cheese slice around her finger and licking/sucking it off (in an off putting, non-sexual way). Uck.
So yeah, I don't think I'll sully my kd with a bunch of cheese slices.

You seem to be basing your food choices on how appealing of a fetish they produce...that's weird.

I think you guys converted me to McDonald's. Got their breakfast a few times and unlike Tims the food made me feel better, there was no lineup and the coffee was good. Guess I don't need Tims and their pisswater coffee anymore.

I'm pretty sure at this point that Tim Horton's is actually running a social experiment to see how ####ty they can make their coffee and still having people lining up for it because of some faux patriotism marketing.
It's actually getting worse and more watery ... and it was already horrible.

When I have a bad cold - my favourite meal, and often the only one I can handle - is to pick up a couple of totally plain (just bun-meat-bun) McDonalds hamburgers and then make a box of KD Spirals. Eat together with flat ginger ale.
If I find I have a craving for that combo, I know I'm getting sick. It's weird.
