Okay guys looking for some serious advice here. Long story short there is a red wine stain on my 'popcorn' ceiling. It isn't too bad, but its enough to notice.
I really do not want to paint my whole ceiling, I was wondering if I could just use some spray primer such as Killz to cover it up? Or would that be awful?
1. So did you think it was a champagne bottle so you popped the top, seriously how does one spill red wine on the ceiling???
2. If it's just a small spot use a little bit of whiteout...honestly this is what an electrician recommended to me for a small spot that had to be fixed at my place, I didn't do it so I have no clue how this would turn out but just a thought for ya. If it's a larger spot then send me a PM and I can give you the final 1/8 of a can of actual ceiling paint. I'm just finishing up a kitchen reno and I actually just repainting my popcorn ceiling and I have a little paint left that will never be used again, not enough for a whole section of ceiling but if you're just looking for a patch job it'll be more than enough.
3. Honestly...how do you spill wine on the ceiling?
Thanks for the advice guys, I appreciate the tips. Basically, there was no corkscrew in sight so an individual attempted to pop out the cork with a knife. The cork ended up in the bottle which somehow cause the wine to shoot straight up. Not very exciting, but not fun. It's sbout 3-4 relatively small spots

The best recommendation is bleach, bleach takes out water spots on popcorn ceilings so I expect it will take out red wine as well. Put some bleach in a spray bottle, spray a bit on one of the spots and see if it works.

This, though we usually dilute the bleach one to one with water
Bleach got chocolate milk out of our kitchen ceiling... I think. It was a big splash accident on moving day, so I have no idea how it looked the next day.
