I absolutely guarantee that the Ducks will not get a hooking call like Johnny took. Guarantee! That is why a lot of us get upset. What is that saying, "what is good for the goose is good for the gander." Unfortunately, the referees cannot read...I don't think.

Reminds me of the time Fleury had blood all over his jersey and tried to use a fans to get back into the game. Didn't work, the fans jersey had autographs all over it.

Technically when he went on the ice there wasn't any blood on the jersey.

So, Stock complaining about a player on the ice while bleeding.
Think for a second P.J., if the Duck player didn't massacre Monahan's face with his stick, he wouldn't be bleeding in the first place, and then no power play goal while a player is bleeding. You would think that the player who was offended should have a right to capitalize on the very penalty that forced him to leak fluid.
But yeah, never mind. Gotta call every play exactly by the book in the playoffs. That's how it's always been done right?

"Ruled off the ice at the next stoppage of play"
Monahan went on the ice when there was no blood on his jersey.
No fault because there was no stoppage of play.
He's wrong.

@RogMillions
I realize Ducks are favorites but does Honda Center really have to have tickets on sale for Chicago-Anaheim Game 1 on Friday?
Wow really? Sheesh lol
Edit: Actually it looks like a re-sale site so nevermind....Stubhub has been doing this the whole playoffs for the Flames too I think

Some of you can't read apparently.
Yes, he posted the rule and it said clearly that a player has to leave the ice next whistle (stoppage of play).
Monahan did that. And he cleaned the blood, got a new jersey, and then went back out there.
The rule doesn't say you're not allowed to bleed again.
PJ was wrong. And not only was he wrong, but it was a stupid waste of airtime.
And some of you are defending him.

Underdog Canadian team up by 1 after the first and the Canadian network can only talk about how the goal should technically not count?! Good god, how long is this monopoly?

Who cares if PJ was right or wrong? I think what's more annoying is how SN thinks blood on a jersey is soooo important. Nothing else.
Remember in the first round how the whole intermission was basically a recap of the Habs/Sens game? Real crap there from SN.

That arena sounds like a library compared to the 'Dome.
