Colborne is the goat on this lost. Stupid 4 minutes penalty at the end of 2nd period. Very unnecessary hit. Then on that empty net goal, he's the one that threw the puck.

Yep, that Gaudreau give away killed everything. Moreso than the Colborne Highsticking penalty.

Absolutely brutal reffing which they probably think was made up for with the 5 on 3. People wonder why Canadian teams don't win the Stanley Cup anymore. If they play anyone from California or a big US market they get absolutely screwed.

Actually have to win 2 there. But it's sort of not the point. Remember remember just year 2. Winning 1 in Cali would be huge, I think winning game 3, and playing these guys even (or at least pushing them hard) since period 2 of game 2 is very big.
They certainly aren't going easily.
