Round 2, game 4: Flames vs. Ducks, 7:30 pm, SN, NBCSN, TVA
Ducks lead series 2 games to 1.
Hey all, I'm feeling under the weather today, so here's a very brief thread. Please add to this as you all see fit.
In short: The Flames have confidence again, which is great to see. The Ducks are still a very good team. They didn't become a bad team in-between Anaheim and Calgary. They've had 2 days to stew over a tough overtime loss, so expect them to be extra motivated to win this one early.
Roster Notes: Bouma skated in a full contact practice and was on a line with Stajan and Jones. Ferland skated but in a green jersey indicating he will not likely be playing. Giordano continues to make steady progress towards a return, but it would be highly unlikely to see him until the 3rd round IF we make it there. Schlemko did not skate yesterday, but it might just be or maintenance. No idea who starts, but Ramo seems the likely choice for the Flames after getting a win. For the Ducks, Fleischmann and Sekac seem to be in the lineup over Palmieri and Etem.
Hopefully some Alberta songs will help the boys out tonight! Some of these are my favorite all time songs. Not exactly pump up songs, but maybe some positive mojo going forward. Enjoy
Not exactly an Alberta song, but it's implied

I like that Anaheim are considering lineup changes - that means the Flames are getting inside Boudreau's head. He has never gone past the second round, let's hope he panics!
Going to the game tonight with my Leafs fan brother (who's fully on the Flames bandwagon this season). I have a perfect record at the dome this season and a perfect playoff record from previous seasons. I feel a win coming on!
Go Flames Go!

I've said it throughout the series -- the longer the Flames can stay in it, the better their chances get. Similarly, the longer this series goes, the more likely the Flames can pull off the upset.
The Ducks were 20 seconds away from taking a commanding 3-0 lead and they couldn't do it. They know it, and the Flames know it. So even though the pressure is still squarely on the Flames to hold serve in game 4, they are going to be more confident, more determined, and more united than they have all series.
Meanwhile, the Ducks had one of their legs chopped out from under them in Game 3. First time they've had to face some adversity this playoffs, and they'll have to do it in the loudest, most hostile environment in the NHL (sorry Jets fans).
The return of Bouma would be huge. Scoring 4 (5?) on Andersen in game 3 was also huge. I think they'll have to score at least 3 if they're going to win tonight.
