If Mike Yeo doesn't pull the goalie too early its a tie game.

Not clutch from Toews.

What end to this game. If they tie it up the OT will be crazy

Respect to Minny for refusing to go down without a fight.

Wow, what an ending.

Now, the Flames will have to play another well-rested team in the next round.

After Dubnyk's unbelievable last half of the season, I'm kinda sad to see the Wild get swept.

Chi Sweeps! Wow. Kane made Dubnyk look human as my prediction said. CHI looks good.

Darn. They got two real chances in the last 15 seconds but couldn't pull it off.

Still an amazing finish though.

He assumed Yzerman's role after he retired. Good leader, but whiney complainer.

No way Kane doesn't destroy Minnesota. At least that is my take on this series.

That and I cannot be the only one who knows the Wild have handled the Flames just like STL has all year. In no way do I want to see the Wild in the WCF should the Flames make it. I'd rather meet CHI.
I was one game off but the rest is accurate!

I'd love to see the Flames face Chicago. I'm pretty sure there's no way the Flames could take that series, but it would be a great measuring stick, and a heck of a fun one to watch.

23 teams are done playing...and the Flames still aren't one of them.

Let them get rested & complacent. The Flames will take them out just like they will take out the Ducks!

Difference between the Hawks and Ducks/Blues/Wild is they're a faster skating team like the Flames and aren't as big/heavy as the Ducks. They're great but it'd be very fast entertaining hockey if the Flames meet the Hawks.

And Ferland can hit guys in a CHI series.

Chicago could potentially have a 9 day break. Wow.

Definitely not trying to jump the gun here...
but what if Flames advance, it'd be our "Toews & Kane" verus their Toews & Kane. That'd be quite a story line

So what do you guys think, dies this hurt or help us? I don't mean in regards to a potential 3rd round match up, I mean against the Ducks. No doubt in my mind the Ducks are/were thinking about the next round a little. One, because they really are gunning for the cup or broke, and two, after starting 6-0 int he playoffs they likely couldn't help done forward thinking.

So, does this put more pressure on them to feel like they need to not only beat us, but dismiss us quickly? And if so, does that pressure help us by making them more tight, or does it simply amp them up another level, or neither it's not relevant?

I am glad Minnesota is out. Not that I hate them. I actually have some sentimental attachment to the state due to spending a few summers there.... but it always seems like when we play them, the games are just awful for some reason.

Flames and Hawks would be a great series I think.
