Default Guy Jumps off Parkade on 6th

Just heard from a friend that Police have blocked off 6th ave due to a suicide? anyone heard details, apparently jumped from parkade, yikes, feel bad for anyone who witnessed

Update! Heard ambulance are there and the guy might still be alive!

Sorry for the speculation no real concrete details was kinda just seeing if anyone knew anything. Never heard of something like this in calgary

Media doesn't report on suicides mostly. And this happens way more often then you'd think.

Friend texted me that a bunch of his colleagues saw the whole thing from the window. It was fatal, the body has been covered. God I wouldn't want to have seen that.

Location-wise, the body is just on the outside road next to O'connors, up about 10 metres.

MODS: If this is too inappropriate, please just remove.

I can see 6th Ave from about 2nd street SW from my office window and traffic seems to be moving normally for those wondering about the commute home. Traffic looks pretty light at the moment actually.

My buddy works across the street and could see it from his office. He mentioned that the guy did not survive.

I feel for the guys family and anyone who witnessed it! I remember watching the video of the jump off the Palisser and thinking it was disturbing... I could only imagine the effects of seeing it live.

If it's the one I'm thinking of that famously made it onto liveleak, it was a drugged out lady who was scaling the windows outside and then fell. Is that the one?
