Also I agree about the pom poms. They looked orange from far away, not to mention it's impossible for a grown man to look cool waving a pom pom...

The C of Red is just fine as is. No need for red towels or Mcdonalds pom poms. Maybe some of those paper Flames flags, you know like those cheap little ones you get of the Canadian Flag on Canada day.

I really like the fact that (up until now) there was no gimmicky crap going on in the dome, a la towels or other such nonsense.

And it's true those pom poms looked like Ducks fans infiltrated the arena, but also liked the Flames.

Just good ol fashioned C of Red, no nonsense.

My personal top games I've attended, in terms of pure entertainment value:
1. Game 6 vs Vancouver - 2015 (7-4 comeback win down 3-0).
2. Game 3 vs San Jose - 2008 (Sarich hit / 4-3 comeback win down 3-0).
3. Game 3 vs Anaheim - 2015 (Johnny Justice).
4. Game 6 vs Detroit - 2004 (1-0 OT win).
5. Game 6 vs San Jose - 2004 (3-1 win).
6. Game 4 vs Chicago- 2009 (6-4 win, Jokinen's 2 goals before Chicago scored 3 straight to tie. Nystrom with the winner).

Honourable Mention:
Game 6 vs Vancouver - 2004 (5-4 OT loss, despite being down 4-0).

Thanks everyone, he went peacefully and lived a long and good life. He was the first one to take me to a flames game back in 84 after our family moved to Canada, so its he who got me hooked on a strange game I had never seen before

Gm. 6 Vs. Detroit is by far the #1 game I have been to. Amazing game, amazing finish, start of an amazing night on the red mile.
