Its a greedy league. This is a league that fights the players every 4 years about the Olympics over a few bucks.

Even NFL replay would have got that right. Not exactly sure what the NHL felt they needed to see for that to be considered a goal if that still shot isn't evidence enough. Like I said the league is very fortunate that the Flames came back because that was a terrible ruling and if you can't call a goal a goal then why bother even having Toronto look at it as they proved themselves incompetent tonight.

Maybe. The NFL may have also ruled that the puck did not make a "Football move" after it fully crossed the line.

Putting small cameras in the corner of the crossbar is easy is it not? Much easier to implement then what should be the end game which is some sort of tracking system that can pinpoint the puck anywhere on the ice.

If the NHL actually has cameras in the goalpost then ####ing show us the view instead of releasing a statement saying it's inconclusive...

For a few thousand bucks you could fill the goal posts with a few camera that have a better view, though I supposed it would hard to justify with how poor the NHL is.

Exactly, get over it guys, it was the right call. At least the Flames won so it doesn't matter.

well maybe it was a bad angle..... maybe the puck AND Andersen's skate were 3 or 4 inches off the ice giving a bad angle.

Sure would like to see the NHL explanation of how the TV angle could be distorted to make the puck, obviously on the ice , look like it was in goal,, on the other side of the red line and is not a goal.

Is the goal line only a suggestion??

Am I the only one that sees the puck bounce out a little bit before any video stops? The gif SureLoss posted the puck bounces off the pad a tad before the freeze frame, no?

This just confirms the league hasn't done its job finding a solution to these goals/non-goals since 04. It may have costed the Flames a cup win in 04' and I would hate to see this cost another team a chance to win the cup. Get your **** together NHL.
