I know it's only a 100 people so far, but the fact that it's a board primarily composed of people in Southern Alberta, and mirroring the other thread, is not a good sign for the PC or WR so far.

Voted for David Khan (Liberal) in Calgary-Buffalo.
If I lived in a riding where neither the Liberal nor the Alberta Party candidates were competitive (or were even on the ballot), then I'm honestly not sure who I would have voted for. I think the PCs need to be ousted, but I'm definitely not a WR supporter and have serious misgivings about the NDP.

I have not followed the election at all or AB politics much, but the handy charts explaining platforms make liberals seem like the obvious choice. NDP platform looks scary to me. Tax the businesses out? Yikes

Ya, I like the young blood and they seem to have their stuff together. I wish there were more candidates as well, I think they have about 40 or so for this election. I bet they get more seats than anyone expected though. I could see them winning more than just the party leaders riding.

They're running 36, IIRC. I don't think they'll get more than one, and even that is up in the air. I know everyone wishes they were running everywhere, but I'd personally prefer that they not just run whoever the hell they can find. They'll build support over time by fielding smart, quality candidates.

Voted PC...as I am very nervous a of an inexperienced, left wing party which will probably discourage, or significantly slow down investment in our province, and in our country.
Most don't appreciate how much we depend on foreign investment to develop our resource based economy.
Be careful what you wish for.

Went out and voted. In my mind this government will be a placeholder while the real political change in this province gets a square kick in the arse.
The Alberta party will do well to get a single seat in this election. From that they should replicate what the NDP did in terms of its grass roots presence in Edmonton and Calgary. There should be a lot of former MLA's around to round up a decent slate a candidates to provide the experience and credibility for someone like them to take a big leap forward by the next election. But they need to get a single seat forit to happen.

Voted Liberal in Calgary-Buffalo as well. Had there been an AP candidate, I likely would have voted for them. That said, the majority of my vote was strategic to try to keep the PCs out of this riding so I may have had to vote Liberal anyway to get the person most likely to beat the PCs.

The NDP candidate is essentially a paper candidate. Terry Rock is campaigning hard for the PCs, I think he's a legitimate threat. That said, I could be completely wrong,we'll see in a few hours.
