If what they're saying about him dropping passes is true, he'd fit right in with the Stamps.

He had some great upside before obliterating his knee, obviously he can still run a little, cut copeland and sign him up.

He was the one actually catching passes witht the Stamps that year!
I think Kenyon would be the one to replace, except the dude is freakin fast!
In reality, see ya later Brett Ralph, Boerighter has way more talent.
With that said, I wouldn't want him back - he showed us he was too good for us when they won the cup in 01, and bolted to the nfl. Now he might want to play instead of just making tons of cash??
I know its harsh and I'm jumping to conclusions - sorry for the rant.
All I mean to say is hopefully we've gone our separate ways!!

But Boerigter is an import, Ralph is a non-import. I can't imagine the Stamps making a move like that as it would probably require them replacing an import with a non-import somewhere else on the team.
Really though, Burris has enough weapons with the existing core. If he can't win games with this group, swapping in Boerigter isn't going to make a big difference. Last game was a step in the right direction with the focus on short passes. Hopefully it continues.

Looks like I've made my point through octothorp. Maybe Bo can throw better than Burris. In that case, sign him up

He took the opportunity to goto the NFL wouldn't you do it if you had the chance? I like the CFL alot more than the NFL but lets face reality make a max of like $300k CDN in the CFL or sign a deal with a $150,000 signing bonus or whatever it was he signed for I recall a big signing bonus.

Sorry, for some reason I thought he was a Canadian???
I guess memory fades over 5 years!
Thanks for the memory check!
Besides that, I do agree Burris has plenty to throw to - the receiving corps hasn't looked this good in years!

Yeah, God forbid, a guy would want to go back to the country he is from, to play in the best leage in the world for his chose sport, and make 10 times the money, what a jerk.
Seriously, I have no idea how you can hold that against him. Don't kid yourself ANYONE would do the exact same thing.
Do you hate Doug Flutie because he took off for the NFL? What about Jeff Garcia?
Do you hate Lombardi, because he abandoned Omaha after a really productive year to go play in the NHL, play a lot less, and make a lot more money?

Excellent points, pretty much exactly what I was thinking.
Besides... since he left the Stamps, he has had nothing but good things to say about the team and city, and flat out said that he would definetly come play here again if things don't work out in the NFL.
Solid guy, and great player. (also holds the NFL record for longest touchdown, shared with a few others, at 99 yards)
