They seem to be intimidated by the Ducks. I would love to see them be as physical as they were with the Canucks. Get into a fight, make a fight of this game. There needs to be that emotional play that served them very well in the first series.

Yeah and they are a Canadian broadcaster. They could at least seem like they're not the Anaheim local broadcast team.

Well, start of the period was ugly, but the second half was actually respectable.

Move Raymond up the lineup...forces his linemates to crash the net for rebounds.
The 2nd half of the period the Flames were starting to get something going, need to tighten up more defensively though.
Wolf looked a step behind the play for the entire period, and his positioning looked off right from the start.

Anaheim is the bigger, tougher team; the Flames don't have to try to contest that--but they shouldn't let them be this much faster. The Flames at their best this season were fast and made great passes to free up guys for shots.
Fact is, if Gio was here, he'd be the engine generating more breakouts and keeping the Ducks honest in the neutral zone.

Hey, still a better result after 20 min than game 1.

Wolf is a total liability out there. Doesn't have the speed or defensive awareness to be trusted with ice.

Yep, he's getting shots through and creating rebounds.
We're being way too picky on our shots.

Well at least the change up in net is paying off. I think all these mixed line ups aren't working.

Wideman has played really badly in this game, in his decision making, and also bobbling the puck a lot.

So many boneheaded plays in one period. It's amazing it's only 1-0.

He did intercept a pass right after the Getzlaf 2-on-1 chance that was going to be a sure goal.

Even my wife, the butthurt canucks fan, noticed how bad the commentary team was.
