118-110, 116-112, 116-112. not even close.
btw, i watched it in chinese, CCTV-5. and those guys were pretty bummed out.

118-110, 116-112, 116-112.
Reminded me why I stopped watching boxing years ago.

I've never seen postgame sports interviewers try to overtly **** off their interview subject more than in boxing.

That has always been the problem with boxing, at least in the big title fights. There's no wondering why the UFC was able to gain ground so quickly once Dana took over. Most exciting thing I remember from boxing in the 90's was Tyson biting Evander's ear

Glad I didn't spend $100 on that. I always enjoyed heavyweights more anyway.
It's kinda appalling Mayweather is even allowed to fight. Convicted of abusing women, and he's about to collect a $200 million check.

Boxing clinic by Mayweather yet again. Boring to watch, but I do appreciate the precision of Mayweather. Dude is cerebral in the ring, that's for sure.

I didn't think it was THAT bad. I never paid for it, nor was I invested emotionally, so maybe that plays a part.
I had a good time seeing Floyd's defense, douchbaggery, and Manny's attack. It was a fight. It's not always going to be amazing.
Still enjoyed myself, and I'm glad I got to watch.

I'm assuming his collecting 5 mil or so per minute if the fight went the distance? complete BS....and I agree, so glad I didn't pay the ridiculous amount they were asking for that fight.
Fight should be scored 8-4 in favor of Pacman...but these Vegas judges will give it to Floyd "woman beater" mayweather.

lol at those critiquing Mayweather. Pacman couldn't hit him and Floyd made him look average.
Guy is a true boxer, strategic, quick, and fights smart.
Not his job to stand in there and trade punches with Pacquiao.
Lost respect for Pacquiao after that fight, sore loser and didn't give Floyd any credit.

Mayweather is the best, and he showed it.
Don't lose respect for Manny over that. You could see how badly he was struggling with his English, cut him a break. He was clearly just trying to make any sense, he didn't really care what he was saying or what they were asking him. He went over and hugged Floyd and all is well.

Maybe we watched a different fight because Mayweather didn't deserve to win that fight...nice strategy, get hit and go for a hug...or just run away?! for the amount of money those two are walking away with he needs to be more of a fighter and actually stand up to fight

You were either biased or don't understand boxing then. It's not street fighting it's boxing.
Pacquiao landed nothing. Being active and punching air has nothing to do with it.
It's not running away, it's called footwork, guys aren't supposed to just stand there and get punched.
Floyd is one of the best strategic counterpunches ever. Kept Pacquiao off with his jab and when Pacman did attack he danced around him and would hit him with a counter.
Can really argue with the stats that showed Floyd landed over 50 more punches.

Its easy to see why boxing is all but dead when that was the sports biggest fight and Floyd is the sports biggest star. Completely off putting. Probably pushed more fans away in droves tonight.

Don't get me wrong either Floyd is a boring fighter. Great boxer, boring fighter.
Unless you appreciate footwork and his speed to dance around his fights will be boring.
You're not going to get a slugfest with Mayweather. It will be slow paced and strategic.

Yep. I can't imagine even wanting to watch the re-match. What a snore fest. Literally nothing happened. Mayweather was full marks for the most boring win I've ever seen. Manny had nothing. So did this fight, sadly.

Mayweather is the 1995-2003 New Jersey Devils of boxing. Maybe it wins, but it hurts the sport over-all.
