The Flames have been owned through 40, but they are still getting pressure down low and odd man rushes... If they get a bounce or two this could go back to bring respectable. Schlemko has made a few nice offensive plays. Unfortunately I don't have any bright ideas on how to turn the tide...
Wolf has to come in if ferland is out. They look small and physically intimidated... Bollig is the only forward with any physical factor at all and he's not great. Maybe colborne a bit too on occasion.
Shore has thrown his weight around as well when he's been out there.
Yes Judgy McJudgerson...could you please stop drinking a beer...or vodka....or probably in your case your cosmopolitan and realize Marijuana is one of tthe oldest and most commonly used stimulants in history?
Also GFG!!!

The Backlund line & Schlemko/Wotherspoon are the only players who aren't a minus in this game lol.
Hoping for some pushback in the third. They might be talking about the Ottawa game right now. Not expecting a bonafide comeback but make the final score respectable enough that there's some momentum going into the next few games.

We need to get bigger at D. Our only big D is Engelland, and he's really a #6/#7.

How do you replace Hudler if he is out for any period of time? I mean I think Shore deserves more minutes but he's not even a drop in the boots he'd have to fill.
Goaltending is not up to snuff against this Ducks team.
I think Ferland being out Ferlanded was a kick to the stomach for the Flames. I feel they were going to go as Ferland went in terms of keeping the belief they could be a physical match for the Ducks. It's going to hurt more than anything else.
I really hope this game is not the barometer for this series but there's no push back.
Thompson should be target #1 but no one is stepping up.
Wideman, WTF man? You let Perry walk right in front of the net for that 3rd goal unscathed. In fact, you backed away! What the hell man!
Hiller was hung out to dry. Ramo will too. Simply need to find another gear as a whole.
Tough game to watch folks.

No matter how the series plays out, there is the fact that this is exactly what our young Flames need to expose them to how you have to play to be a contender.
Sure, they are shell-shocked right now. This is not the weak sauce Canucks, or even the regular season Ducks here, this is the real playoffs and I for one am glad the Flames are getting the experience.
Also, the Flames have shown tremendous resiliency this season. They will be better before the series is over.
In relation to the whole alcohol vs weed thing a few pages back, one is completely legal is you're of age and one is a drug that pretty much makes you a criminal if you buy and or use. Not to mention weed is much more harmful to your brain and devlopment in youth. So no, they're not the same...
