Having said, Im sure it's a future classic....to all the kids who can't drive a stick.

Yeah I won't be doing anything until I get a second car for winter as I don't want to be driving a plow and have the lip inevitably be ripped off.
Another reason I don't want to get a new bumper (and am not considering used) is I don't want to lose the 3M if I can.

Yes, very much so. When I get in my wife's Matrix (and the 4-Runner to a lesser extent) after driving the 911, I am constantly shocked how bad the visibility is. Huge pillars (because of the stupid airbags), high doors and terrible rear blind spots. Never mind the fact you can't see the nose of that car, which makes it difficult to place it on the apex
I can't believe designers don't focus more on this. No, let's put in 20 airbags so that WHEN you get in an accident, you won't get hurt.
How about reducing the chances of an accident by improving visibility. I say get rid of all airbags, they give people a sense of invulnerability which causes them to drive beyond their limits

Poor visibility is the top reason Im not a fan of most new cars. They all have huge pillars, and tiny windows...which to me is a horrendously unsafe combination. Driving a tank might be great when you hit stuff, but how about preventing a hit in the first place? No wonder they are making backup cameras mandatory in the US.
My wife V50 is relatively window friendly (especially compared to the new V60), but it has some massive pillars at the front, and not a month goes by where the drivers side pillar hides a pedestrian. Ive actually almost come close to hitting a few people because of it, and now I hate to physically lean forward and look around the thing every time I pull out of a driveway or make a left turn at in intersection.

I rented a Dodge Magnum wagon a few years ago, and it was like driving with your eyes half closed. I've found Dodge to have the worst visibility generally. The Imprezza does a pretty good job though.

That might explain why they always seem to be driven by complete ***holes all the time. Simply have no idea what is around them.

It's unbelievable. Might as well drive around wearing a pair of these.

Dodge and Chrysler are terribad. You need a backup, side, and windshield camera with those.

The only car I've driven with a side camera was the Crosstour and I found it super distracting. Maybe you get used to it but if I'm changing lanes to the left I want to be looking there, not at a screen on my dash.

Haha, very true. My 300C AWD (RIP, baby, daddy still loves you) was the worst at a red light. I'd have to lean into the passenger seat and look up with my head sideways just to watch for the light to turn green.

I absolutely despite those body kits. All of them. Just heinous. That infiniti looks downright stupid. The Suby looks like someone deflated it.

I look at that Infiniti and I think, "Is it a vacuum cleaner? It looks like it's going to vacuum up debris off the street."

You're all old.
Edit: The Infiniti is a bit much. That suby is clean as can be though.
