It's always amusing when this happens.
I remember during the Keenan era the CBC talking heads would always go on about how the Flames were a low-skill, hard working grind-em-out type of team.
Despite the fact that the Flames were one of the highest scoring teams with a lot of non-physical talented players.

I don't know about everyone else, but I just mute the tv once the game heads to the intermission and go get something to eat or drink and converse with people instead of listening to uninformed people talking about something that they don't have a proper amount of knowledge of. You would think that part of your job as a media analyst would be to, you know, watch the thing you're trying to analyse.

The only reason I listen to commentary during the game is for the crowd noise, it makes me feel like i'm apart of it although i'm really just sitting in my living room.
I like how when you watch the replay for the olympic games it is recorded with crowd noise only and no commentary. Hopefully one day in the future we'll have that option.

didn't see a game day thread
Wills on the radio this morning saying Raymond did line runs with the 2nd line, and Shore did the lines with the fourth line. He didn't mention Bennett at all which was odd as he looks like he's been replaced.
Healthy scratch? Find out today in pre game skate I guess.

Where are you hearing this about Bennett? I think Wills was saying Raymond was taking rushes with Stajan as both Jones and Ferland didn't practice, but he didn't take any rushes with the 4th line and instead Shore did so he may be in for Raymond

My face is a bum!

I thought Bennett deserved a scratching after the last couple games. A total non-factor.

True that eh. It seems like the quality of analyst has taken a nosedive over the years. I've made my point pretty clear on CP that the CBC panel is the worst panel I've ever witnessed, spearheaded by Mr Compassion, Strombo. Snet is improving itself in leaps and bounds though. TSN is still TSN, but too much Toronto-ness.
I find the NBC production to be the best, and their analysis is acceptable. It's a crying shame that CBC has gone from best, to by far and away the worst.

I could have heard wrong I guess ... thought he said up with the second line.
Would be happy to be wrong. I don't expect Bennett to carry the Flames but his arch is such an x factor in this series it's interesting.

Guess it depends who you think the "second" line is. Gets confusing with our team if you don't address lines by the players usually on them

Scratch Raymond, put in Wolf or Shore. We need size more than Raymonds quick swoops.

Shore.
Wolf doesn't have the foot speed to keep up with the game in the playoffs IMO. Shore and his size would be a good fit against the Ducks.
