I wish these two would stop playing each other. A Rangers/Islanders series would have been so fun.

Rangers take this in 6. It is something how these two keep running into each other in the playoffs.

These teams are like magnets just like the Stars and Oilers ended playing each other almost every year.

It doesn't matter which playoff format, conference or division, they seem to play each other in bunches.

Have to think the Rangers will bring way more than the Isles did (3 shots from forwards in a game 7?), and handle the Caps pretty easy.

In my bracket I picked the Rangers. But now I want the Caps to win. Caps in 6. Something tells me Trotz is going to give Vigneult fits.

Everyone knows about the Rags by now. Incredible goaltending, defense, depth with playoff experience.
Washington is a bit of a surprise where they are. Ovechkin is doing his thing, but Backstrom is the real gem who has improved his play. J Carlson, Niskanen, Orpik, Alzner, Green is a great top 5. Bottom three lines are full of hard-working gritty guys, but they will need to step up and score some goals.
I think the x-factor will be reffing. If they hand out a bunch of PPs, then Washington can win this. Else, its New York.
