For most of my jerseys, I just put my own name on them. I'm not getting traded!

I bought the Baertschi jersey when it was half price after the lockout.
My previous jersey was a Phaneuf jersey.

Freaking awesome. Hometown hero for me. His name is still on many track and field records for Trochu Valley Highschool.

This thread makes me want to track down a red pedestal jersey and get #24 Iginla on it. Or maybe #8 Bure.

Red Phaneuf #3 (2005-06). I don't wear it anymore, but can't say I regret the purchase. His rookie season was (and still is) remarkable.
Red OLEG SAPRYKIN #19 (2003-04). To commemorate the return to red, and to wear during our first year as season tickets holders, my brother and I went full young guns: he got a red Kobasew #7 and I a red Saprykin. I had no inkling when I picked up the jersey in September that I would be wearing it proudly at a game in Tampa Bay in June as Oleg frickin' Sapyrykin scored the OT winner of game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Obviously, I regret nothing.

Every other jersey I buy is a regret:
First jersey - classic home white Otto
Second jersey - horse head Savard
Third - Kiprusoff away white (I also picked up a Kiprusoff Finnish national jersey when I was in Helsinki for work during the 2004 playoff run).
Fourth - Phaneuf home (think I'd tape it over with "Traded for Matt Stajan" now...)
Most recent - gifted a Brodie classic red.

32 seconds in Game 3 vs Detroit, then 5:11 in Game 4.
The 5 minutes doesn't look crazy compared to Potter and Wotherspoon, but 32 seconds... hahaha.

With the updated new Jersey's coming out for the '06-07 season, I ordered a couple as a STH. The one I regret, from sure arrogance perspective, was a home one I got made up with 'The Cup' in the name bar and the numbers '07.
Tough to fix/change that one, Lol.

Wow. Read that as 16-17 season. Thought you had some insider information.

I got two Iginla jerseys after he got traded, I bought a nameless jersey. I realized before its not about the name on the back it was about the team.

I'll prove it with a pic later but there was a girl wearing a "sweetie 69" jersey at game 6 and boy did our couple rows had a good laugh at that.
The best one I say was Bollig 25 jersey at National before the game. That was impressive.

I let one of Rene Bourque's famous short hot streaks fool me. I honestly don't know if ever saw anyone else ever wearing his jersey.
I cringe just typing that.

No jersey regrets here, and have some ones pretty proud of.
Now that the 2004 ones are getting dusted off, "04 - Bandwagon" was pretty appropriate as one of which I saw on Saturday.
Worse than people putting their name on (likely in many of those cases, its a family member getting one for another member as a "cool" gift), is companies putting their name on the back along with the #1. Clearly then auctioning them off/giving to employees/giving to clients. Something to be said for the person wearing that "Jim's Electric - #1" jersey as well, but for them, a Flames jersey is a Flames jersey; they wouldn't have spent $110 on it themselves, but for free? Sure.
