I honestly don't get the point of re-naming a sweater. These players were part of our history, so I have no issues wearing it after they've left.
2x Bouwmeester, 1x Cammi (#13) for jerseys of current players, no longer with the Flames.

I have a Canucks jersey. The ugly one...Bought it 1994, hated the Rangers that much.

I have a Detroit jersey. Bought it in the 80's because they used to battle hard with the Leafs, and I hated the Leafs.

Bought a Nordiques jersey way back because I disliked the Habs.

Bought a NJ Devils jersey because of Gretzky's comments.

Only regret the first two, would not wear them.

As much as I hate the Canucks and would still likely burn that and post pics, I actually thought the skate logo was their best jerseys.

If I had a Baertschi jersey, I'd just take the namebar off.
It's not like Sven actually did anything to make #47 "his" number... it would be no different than wearing a blank #46 jersey or a blank #48 jersey.

Alternatively, you could get a "SCORCH" namebar and boom, you've got a timeless classic |

Granted Kravchuk is a pretty sweet jersey.

Who has a Zyuzin jersey?

I have no jersey regrets myself (I have jerseys of the usual suspects, Iginla, Kiprusoff, Regehr, Giordano), but I saw somebody in a #31 Fuhr Flames black horse jersey at the dome this year, which made me laugh out loud.

You need to be more specific. They had quite a few eye-sores. I saw the one 5th from the left top row, at a pub Saturday.

Both "V" jerseys are really, really bad, but that gradient one is just terrible. It makes no sense in terms of the colour combination. The red and black one from the 90's isn't quite as terrible as I remember but it's still polling a close third.

Yeah, I've had a couple offers over the years for it. I know it's in a box.. somewhere. It'd be in rough condition though, it was my go-to ball hockey jersey for several years.

All departed players are not equal. I'd definitely rename a Baerstchi, Phaneuf or Bourque.

But Hamrlyk or Titov or Neimenen - cool.
