I'm excited to see how/if Ferland matches up against Kesler. Of course, I would not be completely honest if I said I was rooting for the Flames

I think we will get Romanuk.
After 6 torturous games with Hughson, Romanuk would be amazing

I want to know why referring to Corey Perry as Katy Perry is such a big deal?

Please explain all angles. Thank you.

I would tend to agree with that statement but with Romanuk, comes Healy. I'd much rather listen to Hughson then that goof!

This. I said the same thing back in 2004. I think the Ducks will be a tough test. But if the "Find-A-Way" Flames can find a way, we'll be playing in June.

Making the playoffs was enough. When we drew the Canucks in round one then I felt we had to beat them and I would be satisfied.

Anything could happen now and this will still be an absolute dream season but I really get the feeling the Flames are gonna go deep. My biggest fear is the Honda Center curse. I actually like how we match up with the Ducks. Listening to their fans they hate this matchup when compared to Winnipeg. The Ducks would rather go toe to toe with another big tough team and they have trouble with the speedy teams.

I think we steal game 1 and take this in 6

If at the beginning of the season you would've said the last four teams remaining would be Anaheim, Chicago, and Minnesota, I would've believed you. However, the fourth being Calgary I would've thought you had gone crazy.

Unbelievable season by the Flames.

Hopefully the Flames can push this series to 6 or 7.

I will take any PBP even Jim Hughson as long as we don't get Glen Healy as a color commentator. If CBC/Sportsnet decides to send Healy in this series, we should email or tweet CBC and Sportnet and show our displeasures.

Now for the series. I can see Hartley matching up Stajan's line against Getzlaf and Perry line at home and I am Boudreau will match up Getzlaf's line against the Monahan line. I think Ferland should target the Ducks defensemen to slow them down. If we can steal one game in Anaheim, we will be in good shape.

Because if you're suggesting that Corey Perry is a girl, and using it as an insult, your really saying being a girl is a bad thing.

Eg. "Throw like a girl", etc

It's going to keep coming up. Not everyone knows about the rule and I'm guessing most don't frequent the off topic section

nah, I want to see Healy forced to give props to Johnny Hockey during every game. especially the way Gaudreau has been playing.

I bet it would absolutely gall Healy to do so. Every. Freaking. Game.

the flamers are in a sweet spot. zero expectation to win. if they can split in the pond the series could easily be ours. the dome has been a 6th man every night and the kids - in particular - feed off it. its drug like. andersen/gibson have both had sketchy stretches this season. i expect ramo to start and pull a magic rabbit outta his ass. the difference in this series is size. can we work around their size? and discipline. no penalties. let the ducks take them. i like our chances. really do.

any word on a bouma timeline? he'd be a great addition for this series.

and please sit raymond.

I have a feeling that if the flames can split the first two games then they will take it in 6
