Me thinks the Estrada doth protests too much. Stajan 4th line? What happend to Bollig - Jooris -Raymond? 3rd line all of a sudden. Come now Erick. Don't be so silly willy nilly.

You want to split up an effective line to jumpstart another?

Bennett is an 18 year old with 7 games experience, he had a beautiful chance last night, and has 3 points in 6 games. How much is he truly being held back?

The good thing about Stajan and Backlund is that they are pretty interchangeable at times. Both can be frustrating offensively and go into black holes, but both still provide a solid two-way play. Backlund had a brutal giveaway that lead to a goal but overall didn't have a bad game, he was also the only Flame outside of Hillier that played well in game 5. His entire forward group was holding him back.

He'll be fine. Give Ferland - Stajan - Jones more time if they're still clicking. Don't mess up two lines to jump start a 3rd line center.

For the most part I agree with Estrada's post. Even though I'm not big on Backlund I would still keep the lines intact. Ferland Stajan and Jones are one hell of a effective checking line you don't want to tinker with that.
Now if Bouma was healthy I would love to see Colborne, Bennett, Bouma together.
JMO Backlund and Raymond are the only 2 forwards not really pulling their weight compared to the other 10 forwards currently.
The fact that Backlund is Centering the 2nd line and also the Center on the 2nd line PP and he has 1 pt is a glaring reflection that he is not matching the valuable ice time he is being given.
As for Colborne and Bennett they out work and out hit Backlund every shift.

Doesn't really gel with the fact Backlund was far and away our best forward in game five does it?

How have Jooris and Bollig been better?
