I had a dream last night that the Flames spotted the Canucks a 3 goal lead in the first 10minutes, then destroyed them 7-1 for the rest of the game.

Last night surpassed game 3 against San Jose '08 as the greatest game I've ever been to. I normally don't drink at the dome, but after going down 3-0 buddy and I needed something positive to do so heroin beers it was. Half a dozen later I'm in the bathroom in the 3rd, just finishing up when Stajan scores. End up hugging it out with 2 random dudes on the stairs as we collectively lose our ####. Trip down the red mile afterwards and it felt like I was 21 all over again, ended up drinking like I was too
Today everything hurts, my voice is gone, throat is raw, legs are sore, head is pounding, hands are sore from high fiving so much, and my gut is making very strange noises. Totally worth it

This is a slippery slope guys, next thing you know CP is complaining that a Flame didn't pick up the stick for an opposing player..
This is the playoffs.

No one here is offended about the empty net goal. Vancouver media are trying to make it a thing.
edit: As already mentioned

Had an idea!

Waiting to see all the different highlight packages AC puts together.
Ferland needs a round 1 clip for just his hits.

He deserves credit for making the Stajan goal possible too by clearing the front of the net after taking the initial shot. Great play.

Is there a gif of the fans waving goodbye to one of the Sedin's before the face-off? That was hilarious

The 2nd round pick we got for Sven is significantly higher now that we've downed the Canucks.

no, it's not. It's still 53rd overall as of today because 1st round results had no impact on the draft order.

Definitely was under the impression if you're out in the first round it has an impact on the draft order.
Apologies.

Still undetermined. Someone else posted that it will range between 49th and 53rd overall depending how things shake out still.

If any of Calgary, Ottawa, Detroit, Minnesota, Washington, or the Islanders make it to the Conference Finals, the Canucks pick will move up by the number of those teams who make the Conference Finals.
The same is true of the Capitals' picks (unless the Caps themselves make the Conference Finals).

I jumped on at least three pieces of furniture last night when Hudler scored the empty-netter. Such a huge two points.
After all those rough years, this reward feels soooo good.
Party hardy Flames fans.

OH yeah, Colborne too!
Not Schlemko though. Nothing against the way he played, just didn't get into my already extensive "love that guy" list
I love the team though. And I don't dislike anyone, not even Raymond.
