Its a schtick, its like a pre-game superstition.
I remember one poster on here predicted the Flames were going to lose every single game for YEARS. It was just his thing. He thought if he bet against them they would win.

There's a lot of pressure on them going back home. Being up 3-1 you have a chance to win it. I felt they looked a little tired at the end of the game. We have to bring the same energy. For them to go home and face their crowd, there's a lot of pressure there.
I agree, not trying to be politically correct, but burning an opposing team's jersey (like wishing injury to their players) just feels like bad juju to me.

Its crazy how sensitive some of you are with regards to the Jersey burning.
It's a sports team Jersey. A local sports team, not even representative of a country.
Should we stop heckling the canucks goalies or boring bieksa too? Wait should we not make any noise for fear of creating too hostile an environment for the poor canucks. Maybe we should just lose to them, I mean you wouldn't want to be too disrespectful.
