yeah how happy was ron to put on his hnic letter jacket, and get out to central alberta.

still think that hometown hockey was put together as a means to keep McLean.

I was on the Red Mile back in 04 as a 21 year old male. After the SJ elimination game, I only saw 4 women flash in total. 2 of which were together standing on the Western High School halfwall. They were joined by a fully naked man wearing only a traditional Asian hat. The other 2 were on boyfriend's shoulders just waiting to have all the attention. I did not feel in any way that these women were forced to expose themselves. They were seeking the attention.

I will also never forget on that same night, a young man climbing up and standing on the traffic lights in front of WCHS. He nearly fell into the crowd as the lights tilted on him. Why did he do this? Attention.

As for "losing the respect" and staying out of this thread, I really don't care. I like arguing and debating. It's fun. A lot more fun than patting each other on the back about how awesome your shared opinions are. You don't learn unless your view points are challenged.

It's also the internet and some of you take it way too seriously.
I kind of find it hard to believe your intention was to "challenge" other people's opinions when you dropped this disaster of a post in here

As to "taking the internet too seriously", I really don't think so. If anything most people in this thread are laughing at you or embarrassed for you, and not taking you seriously at all. I'm mostly surprised after being badly taken apart by multiple posters that you keep coming back. Maybe you're taking this thread too seriously?

That was a joke post that started a sh*t storm. "Taking the internet too seriously" refers to said sh*t storm. It's not even an opinion or an argument. It's literally just a light-hearted post. The fact that it caused a sh*t storm is exactly why I think some of you take it too seriously.

"taken apart"? There was one post in here where I actually felt the need to sit down and type a thorough response too and that was the one by Nyah. Consequently no one seemed to feel the need to respond to that reply but I digress.

The fact that you'd think I'd be "embarrassed" about what happened in this thread is another reason why I think some of you take this place a bit too seriously.

It's funny cause most of you seem to be posting more about me then the topic at hand. Why is it so hard for you guys to ignore posts that annoy you? Actually how does a silly internet post manage to annoy you is a better question.

^If it was a "light hearted post" it just showcases exceptionally poor self awareness. In a thread where virtually everyone is against you, how did you really expect that post to go over?

No one wanted to respond to that post because by that time your credibility in this thread was less than zero. The problem was digging yourself a hole and rather than simply leaving, you came back to dig some more. I just don't get why you didn't get out of a thread that wasn't going well for you when you had the chance.

Actually my little argument was about half a page long before I made that post. Then everyone proceeded to lose their minds.

I keep coming back to post cause its a fun thread to post in? Nothing more to it.
