Took me a good 10 sec to realize that was Bollig.

Nice. Wouldn't that be a little surprise for the Canucks.

Not going to make any predictions for tonight. I just want to say that this year's version of the Flames feels different than previous teams. They seem to have the killer instinct that was missing during the Iginla years. Not saying they'll win tonight, but I'd be surprised if they don't advance to the second round in the next week or so.

The Flames had two chances to make the playoffs. They stepped up for the first one, playing possibly their best game of the season. Here's hoping they have the same killer instinct tonight. If they do, watch out

Just insane to see that our top 3 left wingers are all rookies.

@fan960boomer at BP's lounge with Brad for some pre game caesars. Threw a 20 into the jukebox, played the whole Look Sharp! album. #Roxette

Where will Bouma slot in when he returns? Hard to break up those top 3 lines with how they're playing. Only thing I could see is Raymond or Bollig coming out and Bouma works his way back up if others struggle or get hurt. Says a lot about our depth when our 4th highest goal scorer would have to fight his way back up the lineup upon returning from injury.

Brad Richardson is skating with the rest of the evil Canucks right now. Just a twirl apparently. Big wow, I know.

Bouma skated earlier this week with no stick.
Giordano skated hard earlier this week with a stick and did some drills.
I would expect Giordano is somewhat closer, but that is guesswork.

Plus another at centre on the 4th line, a sophomore C on the top line and a guy who is practically a sophomore at RW on the 2nd line.

With the exception of Bollig and a little bit of Jorris, we'll have to make it to SCF in order to possibly see some playoff beards on any of them.

Dave Tomlinson on the TEAM 1040 speculated about 30 mins. ago that Baertschi will be playing with a massive chip on his shoulder. He says that when Beartschi was assigned #27 last year—after Burke's silly moratorium on high Jersey numbers—he didn't "feel the same" in a different number. He should be feeling justifiably slighted now with Ferland (#79) and Bennett (#93) in the Flames lineup with no mandated number correction.
So much ignorance. So much desperation. So much false hope.
