Miller isn't the same goalie he once was. He's done.

With the defensive system that the Flames utilize, not many pucks are going to get through the box. The Canucks are being forced to the outside - if the Flames are good defensively, then their only option besides cycling it around the outside is to try and blast it through a crowd, or attempt to wire a pass through like 2-3 sets of sticks and skates.
Sadly, some of those low% attempts have bounced their way past Hiller this series, but that's an unfortunate side effect of an otherwise decent system of play.

Miller and Hiller let's say is a wash.
We will beat Vancouver with playing better D and O which I think I doable.

I'm imagining the shots during the telecast...
Camera view is of Ryan Miller in warm up from different angles. Cut scene to Eddie Lack's dad. He looks at his phone, tucks it into his pocket and sighs deeply.

Miller's far from being 100% and even if the Canucks pick up a win at home, there's no way Miller can steal 3 in a row. I wouldn't necessarily put all of the Flames goals solely on Lack's play so if the Flames keep playing the way they have been I expect much of the same result against Miller.

Miller had some stellar play where he was probably considered to be one of the best goaltenders in the world - if not the very best. However, that was like 5 years (?) ago. He just hasn't been very good for a while now - and ever since that Lucic incident (which I thought was dirty) he seems to be somewhat broken. I didn't think he was dominant at any stretch this season outside of a game here or there.
I don't think he will be an improvement over Lack. Just like the Flames run with Hiller and Ramo, Vancouver has two capable goalies. Neither one of them are exceptional, neither one of them are horrible. Neither one of them should make any team scared.

If we cant beat Miller we cant beat the Ducks or anyone after them. Topple every issue you face starting with Miller.

He looked pretty solid in relief of Lack last night. The Flames won't change their game plan though, so I don't think he'll be better than Lack honestly. Get bodies in front of him, and shoot.

If by some miracle Miller gets a SHUTOUT tonight, when he starts game 6 in Calgary we should get a "Sil-ver Me-dal" chant going through the dome

Miller is a good goalie but he wilts in big games, even when he was one of the top goalies in the NHL. Calgary will still take this.

I am worried that he can come in and steal the game.
He is fighting for his job for this or even next year. Think about it, while he was injured Lack has taken over and carried this team. Miller feels him breathing down his neck so he will feel the need to step up and steal one. He'll either do well or fold under the pressure.

I agree. He looked slow to get up after the scramble with Ferland in front of the net. Other then that he was only really tested one time as the flames were playing not to lose. I don't know if he has his game conditioning back yet. As long as the flames throw pucks at the net and make him work I think he might be in trouble.

Great, now they'll probably show Miller's wife every second whistle... wait, I think that's a good thing.

Overthinking it. By that reasoning the Flames should start Ramo, because Hiller took over while he was injured and carried the team, so he will be extra motivated.
Miller is a decent goalie when he's on. I think the Flames can expect him to be solid. But I haven't seen him steal a game in years. He won't be the difference in this game IMO. It will be about which team can carry the play, which team sticks to its system (i.e whether the Flames can continue to keep the Sedins from making cross-crease passes) and whether the Flames can continue to get good efforts from every line and expploit the bottom half of the Canuck's defence.
