Yeah, as someone without a dog in this race, I wouldn't say this series is a result of goaltending. It's a result of a complete lack of discipline by the Jets and horrible play by their number 1 D-man.
I understand wanting to blame the goalie, it's easier than accepting that the team as a whole was pretty mediocre.

I don't recall saying its the only reason. I said it was the difference. Lots of people can share blame but no one other area of this match up has been so heavily slanted.

How can anyone blame pavelec on this series. Should all blame buff, his defensive breakdowns have happened every game and lead to alot of goals. Pavelec is keeping this game from being 5-2...

Quoting save percentage as evidence of a distinct goaltending edge over a 3 game sample size doesn't work. Look at tonight, Trouba and Byfuglien getting danced is a much bigger issue than Pavelec.

Jets do not have the ability to choke yet. We aren't good enough. Choking is something you do when you're the #1 seed like the Canucks and Sharks in the past.
