Poor Jets just can't catch a break. I'm no Jets fan but feel for them. Plus hoping that these two teams would beat each other up over a long series...sigh

Celebrated Square Root Day

Haha, that Jets player is going to be punching himself when he sees the replay of that breakaway. Being low on gas aside, he totally thought he had one defender on him so he slowed right down and tried to hold him back, leaving the other backchecker to just poke the puck away.

Except the Jets are getting killed by the smallest guy out there. Cogliano.

But you'd be better off with Byfuglien than Phaneuf.

No thanks. I doubt the Jets would take on Phaneuf for free, with his contract. Buff is a bigger, stronger Phaneuf, in many ways.

It may actually improve their team. Oilers don't want to relinquish their Draft Lottery dynasty.

Jets seem so disorganized. Almost like they have no system at all.

Calgary's gotta focus and get ready. The Ducks can dismantle and destroy a structured team, making them look lost and silly at the best of times.
Come on Jets!!!

Byfuglien has been terrible in this series. He's looked like a rookie with how often he gets out of position trying to make a big hit, and of course his temper has really hurt the Jets a number of times. Weird how he can go from being such a key component in the Hawk's first cup to a total liability with the Jets

That's not even the weird part. The weird part is how he could go from such a key component to the Jets even being in the playoffs to torpedoing them once they got there.

He was on offense when he was with Chicago. Buff is either playing like a man possessed, or he is completely off his game. No middle ground.

Big Buff has his strengths but he's a pylon at times....actually maybe he would fit in on the Oilers

Remember when the Oilers were so good Andrew Cogliano was disposable? Good times.

This could be a rather dreary 13 minutes.
They need a flukey one and soon.
