I always like Buff. I have to say I've lost some respect for him down the stretch here though as another poster alluded to, with his cheap shots. That BS that he pulled in the scrum was the cherry on top for me.
I hope they can win tonight...I'd also like to see what Ehlers can do. Junior playoffs are a far cry from NHL playoffs.

Ehlers wont be in game 4 apparently. Which makes sense I guess, he just played last night and hasn't had time to acclimate yet. Maybe 5... if we get there.

Ya sorry I meant I hope the Jets can win tonight, so that we can see Ehlers in game 5.

He might be a good guy in the room but IMO he isn't a good leader on the ice, and has selfish tendencies.
Jets problem all year was taking penalties.
Real leaders don't compound the problem by continually taking selfish penalties, and making stupid decisions at key moments of the year.
Byfuglien is just lucky his teammates stepped up during his suspension, had they faltered and missed because of him he would have been vilified.
Great leaders also don't pull that stunt he pulled yesterday IMO.

True - they step and answer for the etam (even Phaneuf does this). All that happens when Buf pulls that stunt is that other players have to (a) answer the same questions and (b) comment on Buf.

Interesting to note that the Jets went 9-3-1 without Buff in the lineup. He is great for the highlight reel, but he has the tendency to make too many mental errors.

Flames have a better record without Giordano this year too. Doesn't necessarily tell the whole story

A buddy (Jets fan) posted this on FB today.
Hoping to see this answer on Jeopardy in the future.

The Jets remind me of the Seinfeld rental car reservation conversation: You know how to take the lead. You just don't know how to hold the lead...and that's really the most important part of the lead -- the holding.

With the Jets plethora of good dmen, I wonder if they dangle Buf for a top 6 forward? Edmonton might make a good trade partner.

Ducks are a really bad match-up for the Jets. They play exactly like them, just better.

The general consensus amongst Jets fans is that it'd be shocking if buff wasn't moved. Can't have one if him or Myers or Trouba playing third pair minutes. Too much talent

Doubt Edmonton is willing to pay the asset cost it would cost to get Buff. Or any decent defenceman, for that matter.
But you'd be better off with Byfuglien than Phaneuf.

Yeah. I was hoping this series would be a bigger fight. But the Jets just can't get anything going tonight. Anaheim's really trying to put the boots to your throat.
