An almost run-of-the-mill win for the Flames. Huge PP goals in the first, and what a feed by Hudler on Johnny's goal to Wideman. Canucks look tired, but they do have the tools to turn it on when they need to. Game 5 will be incredibly tough in their barn. You know they will be playing desperate hockey, but this leaves gaps for the Flames to exploit. Watched the game with my very good friend who is a rabid Canucks fan. We have watched 3/4 games on his spectacular Samsung TV, and all three the Flames have won. I don't think I'm welcome from this point onwards. Go Flames go! Bring on Thursday. I'll be a nervous wreck.

The old scoreface was a healthy scratch last night... good to get a 2nd rounder for him.

I have no voice, my arm is sore from high fives, I feel like a hot pile of garbage, and my ears are still buzzing. Today is already the longest Wednesday ever.

Totally worth it!

I just love how it looks like Daniel is going to shoot Engellands stick away then he realizes that's mean so he picks it up and gives it to him.

The only possible theory I have on that is at first Sedin was trying to be a troll, then all of a sudden he realized who's stick he knocked away. If you could look into his mind for that .5 of a second when he knocked it away, he probably had Vietnam style flashbacks of Engelland beating the tar out of two Canucks in the corner, then picked it up and said "Your stick kind sir, now please, spare my family."

Bennett has tied Olli Jokinen with his 2nd career playoff goal.
Bennett - 1 regular season game
Jokinen - 1,231 regular season games

Kris Russell continues to amaze me. So many times he gets a stick on a cross crease pass, or bats a puck out of the air quietly that negates a scoring chance, and barely gets noticed but he's absolutely in control of the game. Brodie is much more flashy and has grown his game immensely, but IMO Russell has been the best Flame this series. Him and Wideman are the Flames' heartbeat right now.

That trade by Feaster is beginning to look Kipper-esque. What a steal it's turned out to be.

The Sedin's are the leaders of the nucks and that is a perfect example of leading by example...of being gutless. That team is going downhill fast, it's awesome.

Russell has been on an upward trajectory all year. He was good early, but the insane play of Giordano and Brodie put him in the shadows. But ever since Gio went down Russell has become our best D-man IMO. And with him just entering his prime it's going to be fantastic to see him on the Calgary blueline for years to come

Boring Sean Monahan @boringmonahan Follow I asked the guys during the game if they thought Kevin Bieksa was relevant tonight but they didn't hear me because our fans were too loud.
