The best thing about this series so far is I've been really impressed with every single Flame so far. The top line was slow at first but have been good the last 2 games.

Meanwhile a lot of depth players stepping up big. Obviously Ferland, but I've been really impressed with Backlund, Jooris, Schlemko, Jones, etc.

Beauties!

Just a follow up I hadn't seen in the thread yet on the yellow shirt guy. Harvey can over with a red flames practice jersey and "Jeresy'd" his yellow shirt off and had him wear the red one. The guy had fun with it, however his son seemed to embarrassed to put the one they brought for him.

It's amazing how much this team has transformed from the regular season - Bennett and Ferland have been giving us another gear.

Also, that Hulder between the legs pass. Awesome.

Nah, there was one neon guy in the first 2 periods. Suddenly in the 3rd the Flames team probably suggested having some fun using the guy next to him by having him wear another neon shirt and then forcing a Flames jersey onto him.

The original guy wore neon the entire time.

Default Flames win 3-1. Lead series 3-1. Bieksa should look up the meaning of irrel...

Nope I was sitting in the section right above them in. The guys behind him showed the dad his phone (guessing it was Twitter). He then left to go to the concourse, but when he did the son took off his hood/jacket/whateveritwas that had Bruins colours to reveal the same shirt. I'm sure if u looked back at your videos you would see the change.

Edit- did some quick checking via flames Facebook highlights and at the 8min mark of the 3rd u see two guys in yellow, then in the next highlight around 6 something u see only one

This isn't totally on-topic, but watching Hiller's post-game interview and looking at the fire helmet made me clue into the fact they gave Bouma the helmet that game he got injured in.

I hate to use the 'classy' cliché, but... classy move, there.

(Didn't think I'd seen it mentioned elsewhere, but I could just be 2 weeks late to the fact hahah.)

I wish I knew how to post a pic from my phone. I just screen grabbed my favorite moment of the game. Johnny's face during his celebration after scoring. Just sheer emotion. He was jacked up. Absolutely love the passion.

We had some crazy Calgary fan girl yelling squish em the whole game. Half way through the third I joined her put pinched my fingers from kids in the hall. Quite a few people joined in. Everyone was standing at the end cheering them on. So happy they won and the Canucks are in that deep whole they deserve. 3-1. The better team came out on top.

The Flames get some love from.................Mark Spector. Wait, what?

The chasm between young and old has begun to open even wider through these two games at the Saddledome, and we’ll let you guess which team has claimed which mantle. Calgary is faster, more physical, more in charge of the tempo, and despite the fact goalie Jonas Hiller has left plenty of rebounds lying around his crease, Vancouver has not been able to make him pay.

The Sedins scored their second goal in four games when Henrik’s pass went five-hole off of a sprawling Kris Russell, but the two 34-year-olds have only provided two goals in 240 minutes of hockey this spring. We’re not sure we saw the Sedin Cycle for more than a total of 30 seconds here in Calgary, a bellwether for when they’re on their game.

They’re not, and the Canucks are in big trouble in this series.

Just got home from the game, and while I wasn't at game 3, I must say I thought the crowd was fantastic tonight, especially in the first after the third goal. The "EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE" chant was awesome! Nearly every person in the buildings was taunting him! Also very pleased at the lack of Canuck fans! I love the C of Red!

I was away for school in Lethbridge, so to come home to this vibe was really awesome and a nice way to welcome me home! This city is alive right now! Everyone was happy and cheering in the concourse after the game and outside! Horns honking, people yelling and screaming waving flags out of car windows!

It sure is good to be home! Go Flames Go!!!!!!!!

Bieksa in this series reminds me of Derian Hatcher in 2004. Living off reputation but the game and physicality is starting to pass him by.

The thing that I am surprised at is that Vancouver hasn't targetted Engellend the way that Anaheim did early in the season. You may recall that Jackman dodged McGrattan (or Bollig) and hacked Gaudreau off the faceoff, then skated to the blueline and obliged Engellend. It took Engellend off the ice for 5 and made the Flames have to overplay a new D-pairing. Same thing here. If the Canucks sent Dorset to try Engellened in a fair 1 on 1 fight, you know Engellened is itching for that. Should that happen the Flames are then having to bump Schlemko up a pairing and putting more pressure on the top 3. Just something that i'm surprised they haven't done yet.
