No kidding. Talk about two players built for the playoffs. What a shame.

No, they love every second of this. Family.
They can get back in the further we go.

AC, Re: Ferland
Definitely awesome. My favorite was where he went in and lifted the D stick like 6 times in a row and then took the puck and almost generated a great scoring chance.
Do you have a vid of that one?

Wasn't in Calgary then but I felt that way out here then as well. Team was missing something and you knew they were not going to make any noise in the playoffs. Get the same sense now with the canucks going back to the LA lose. There's no fight in this team, no extra gear.
Calgary on the other hand... Feels like they are just getting warmed up.

This.
I live in enemy territory, yet most of the stupid canuck fans that I have to deal with daily acknowledge how awesome the Flames fans are and how the Saddledome is such an intimidating place to play.
You people are making it a pretty special place...nice work and thank you!

Obviously I am hoping we go all the way, just curious as I thought I read that on here somewhere haha.

The four teams in the Conference finals get the 27-30 picks. Otherwise, they stay in the reverse order of the standings.
The Flames will pick 15th unless they get to the Conference Finals.

Dome was a bit quieter tonight in my opinion. Rocking in the first for sure, but died down a bit in the second. The second was really close checking though and not a lot of things to really keep the energy up. Picked up again a bit in the third and then the huge standing ovation for the last few minutes.
What I'm most thrilled about was the almost complete lack of canuck fans in the dome. So awesome to watch the game surrounded only by other Flames fans.

Yeah it was a lot quieter tonight, probably out of nervousness. I agree as well, almost NO Canuck fans.
Maybe 200?
Also:
Bieksa on the ice for 5 of 10 Flames goals
Sbisa on the ice for 6 of 10 Flames goals

One win away from round two. Unreal. Keep up the work.

Bieksa was quite possibly the worst player on the ice today
Very relevent

I'm sure it has been posted/asked for but does anyone have a clip of Sedin handing back the twig after getting hit?

Had the good fortune to be at the game tonight. I can't see the Canucks winning here when it's that red and that loud, even if they scrape by game five. You would think the Canucks would have come out focussed and determined in the third period, instead they came out calm, like they are looking forward to the comfort of it all being over soon.
Shhhh, Bieska. You need say no more. It will all be over soon.

It was definitely a couple notches down, start to finish. People weren't standing during the opening video, and didn't really get going until the players hit the ice. I have a feeling with the crazy ticket prices going deeper and deeper, the only people that will be able to afford to go, won't be the crazy rowdy type.
Talking to a few people, the ticket prices are already at round 4 levels from 04.

For the record, Bennett is the Flames leading goal scorer overall, and leading all forwards in points.

So I still can't clearly see Bennett tip that goal. Does anyone know where there's a good angle of that play?

Ok, so Vancouvers 2nd round pick (that we own) won't change then if they are knocked out of the first round…?

This was on Bieksa, and was a few minutes into the 2nd period. ...And was totally awesome.
