Burrows may face charges after summer league incident:
The report said the Canucks winger is under investigation after violently swinging his stick and striking the face of a goaltender at the Excellent Ice arena in Kirkland, Que.
I'm not upset that he won't be playing tonight, but I hope that it's not a major injury. No one wants to see that.

Outside of the plain, it's a game and I don't wish anyone harm stuff, too bad he's not playing tonight. One, I don't want any excuses should the Flames get the win, and two, I actually think his special brand of D-baggery creates great animosity and is actually helping the Flames right now. I want them fired up and hating the Nucks tonight as much as possible, and I don't want the removal of Burrow's to curb or mute the hate and emotion.

Mods should remove that comment from page 1. HF and other outside fans are going to come here and see that and paint us all with the same brush. That comment IS NOT reflective of what Flames' fans think.

Don't post that garbage here. At the end of the day, it's just a game.
I despise Burrows as much as anyone but these types of comments are Canuck fan type of comments... and nobody wants to be associated with that. Hope he is ok
I don't wish him ill as a human, simply as a terrible hockey player. I'd love for him to be done with hockey, he adds nothing good to the game. Thus, it is a good riddance.
Try it on and see how it feels. (We don't wish you ill as a human, simply as a terrible forum poster. I'd love for you to be done with Calgarypuck, you add nothing good to the conversation. Thus, it is a good riddance.)

The guy is nothing but human feces on the ice, but off the ice he has a wife and kids so I'm glad to hear it's nothing serious, if not for Burrows sake then for his family's.
Good to see that most posters are wishing him well.
Please remember that regardless of how we cheer against him and rib on him and get angry with him- he's just a kid with a family who plays a sport.
Sending good wishes to him and his team and his family.
Glad to be part of the CP Community who shows class and respect to a fellow hockey player with an injury. Doesn't matter how much hate I have for the Canucks, I absolutely abhor seeing players injured.
My son is on his way to play Division 1 FBS Football in one month as an 18 year old- and when he was 16 he tore his ACL, it was devastating. He was no favourite of the other team or their fans, but they were all very supportive for his recovery and that made all the difference in the world to him and my family.
