#Canucks say Burrows injury NOT medical or serious. It's a hockey injury.
They do not expect to put out any updates before game time. #cbc

Holy Crap, that escalated quickly.
From Linden's comments I thought it was no big deal. Yikes. I hope he didnt have something serious happen.

I wouldn't read too much into the ambulance thing. Any injury, or perceived injury, in this scenario would result in an ambulance ride simply as protocol and precaution.

I'm surprised at this, but a lot of you guys need to realize that this is a GAME with absolutely no real life consequence to you.

Could be a broken wrist or something. Guess we'll find out later.
Can't stand the player, one of my more disliked in recent memory, but I'd rather have him on the ice than in a hospital.

I don't wish long term heath problems on Burrows, but I think the game of hockey is better off without him or similar kinds of cheap shot artist (Cooke etc).

Likely a cut(deep) ambulance/stretcher just make it easy for loading on/off the ambulance.
Wrist cuts = trouble with all the tendons/veins etc..
As much as we all hate the guy he is on the ice, lets not forget he's like the rest of us and has family/kids/career ahead of him. Hope its not serious.

Protocol to be transported by ambulance but you think if it were a wrist injury, he could have walked out and sat in the back for a ride to the hospital.
Hope it's just a simple injury.
Never wish anything bad to happen, no matter what you think of him as a player. What if it was your brother, son or dad?

Feel dirty for having concern for another human with (at the time) only the info he's been taken from the Dome in an ambulance? Nah, that doesn't make me feel dirty.

there is no way he could get off the ice without a drop of blood hitting the ice if he cut his wrist no reports of any blood anywhere

Geez not at all. You don't wish medical problems on anybody. Not even Burrows.
With it being a hockey injury apparently then that changes things. I hope it's enough to keep him out of the series as he's the type of player that could seriously injure one of the Flames.
I'm glad that he's not in the lineup. I'm also glad that it's not a serious medical problem.
