How in the hell do people clap while swinging a towel?

It looks stupid.

It's the hockey equivalent of Jazz Hands.

The only red towels we should wave are ones that started out as Canucks' white towels that are covered in the blood of their former owners.

Those towels look stupid and are way overdone. Jazz hands comparison is good. Just say no to towels.

I always wondered why we didnt get anything.....is it just cuz our ownership/management is cheap?

Because I dont remember them recently trying something and it failing, no matter what anyones opinion on towels....lol.

I just think Flames are cheap even though their roster is one of the cheapest in the NHL.

All we really need is the C of Red. And more off beat, borderline comedic chants. (I for one would love to be listening to the CBC Broadcast and hear a "Lack is Legend" chant if we get them at home in an elimination situation). Or a section full of Eddie Lack's dad masks.

No towels. Just the C of Red, passion and humor.

They give out things all the time. As mentioned already they've tried towels and thundersticks. What were you hoping for?

Vuvu's can be deafening but 80% of the fans can't get a sound out of 'em. More of a football thing.

Somehow I have a red towel from a playoff run.

I have no idea how I got it as tomorrow's game will be the first playoff game of my life. Anyways the towel had like ten things written on it about what was going to happen in the playoffs. The only one I remember is "100% chance of Fleurys" lol

Because they're quieter than clapping and making an annoying tinny sound.

Also: lame.

They usually stick to handing out posters, hockey cards, etc.

They've handed out those glowing or flashing Flames logo things a couple times before, those are actually the best because they look fairly neat when the lights are out.

I'm one vote for a red towel. I'm not to cool for a towel. Great keep sake.
