Vrbata was so useless on that shift, looked scared and bewildered. Actually looked that way most of the game. Is this playoff hockey? What have I gotten myself into???

He could have handled both. So ya, kinda movie like.

Also, Gaudreau's stickhandling skills are just incredible. He essentially keeps the puck away from 3 Canucks all by himself before finally getting slashed.

If only he could start using those skills to get the puck to the net in this series, instead of being all flashy just trying to keep plays alive on the perimeter. so much offense yet to be given from the Flames side. not sure the Canucks have much more than we've already seen, except Vrbata who has been ice cold. Canuck fans know this, hence why they are clamouring for 'saviour' Baertschi.

Please play Sven. An inability to show the kind of grit needed in highly physical games is one of the big reasons he never worked out in Calgary. He would be more irrelevant than any Canuck currently on the roster.

Actually liked Hughson's calls last night. Still some homerism but seemed pretty excited every time Ferland took a run at someone. Even busted out the "Heeeeeere's Johnny!"

Someone must've talked to him or he got caught beating it to the Canucks win or something because he was miles better than Friday. Simpson actually sounded frustrated like he wanted to pile on the Flames so bad but Hughson wouldn't play along.

He probably feels obligated to call to the home team's favour. I'd prefer he just calls it straight though.

The Flames play a heck of a lot better and JImmy Canuck and Craig Coilers seem to be more partial?

Haven't seen anyone touch on this yet but Schlemko has been very good. +2 last night with an assist and 16:26 ice time.

Also very happy with Schlemko. A savvy pick up by Treliving. Imagine where we'd be without the additions of him, Engelland, Diaz. Our Defense would be pretty depleted and would probably be featuring Ramage/Kulak-Culkin (which ones the better one?).

This is so supremely awesome.

One thing I will say is that I am willing to bet there is a perfect picture of Burrows' head flailing back to be pasted over Admiral Motti.

Either way, props to that man who I'm sure is a proud CP member.
