That was hysterical. I think it was straight after the b.s. call on Backlund.
You could've put Jesus on the jumbotron and the fans would've boo'd at that point. Poor lady, she still picked the right cup if i remember right.
Part of me thinks that the answer is written down on the paper that the promo host is holding and the contestant can see it. I'm not sure I've ever seen someone guess it wrong (they may have, but I'm not sure I've seen it). Alternately, the person operating the scoreboard could likely just show whatever ending he wanted to coincide with the guess.

The last game I went to someone got one wrong, but they gave them the prize anyways.

Funny enough, I have a few Canucks fans as friends on Facebook who are complaining about "biased refereeing" last night, and how our young guys shouldn't have been skating with their heads down.
I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier. They tweeted the number last night. IT was C-144688. Looks like the mistake is on the website. I had a sinking feeling in my stomach because I tossed my ticket when I saw the 144 and my ticket started with either 114 or 124.
The Following User Says Thank You to Robbob For This Useful Post:
So Burrows got an instigator in the last 5 minutes and faces a possible suspension.
How did Bieksa NOT get an instigator as well? He throws 5 or 6 punches before Ferland has a chance of dropping his gloves.
Referees/linesmen was too busy looking for Dan Hamhuis so he can help separate the fight.
I agree. That was blatant dirty move by Bieksa. All freaking yapping and wouldn't fight Ferland when Ferkland is looking but as soon as Ferkland wasn't looking he started punching him. I believed there were less than 5 minutes in the game also.
I think the boys were a little too loose and confident heading into Game 2. Hartley no doubt straightened that out and I expect to see another domination in Game 4.

thank goodness. I was panicking because I did the exact same thing!
Seeing Ferland with 8 hits when not a single Canuck registered more than 3 is insanely beautiful.
The game was amazing, apart from the plastered Vancouver fan sitting behind me. Other than swearing the whole game, falling forward into my seat (thankfully I was standing to watch Russell fight Burrows and didn't get hurt or anything), this guy then started a fight with Flames fans on his way out and got himself arrested. Justice on and off the ice! Nuck fans=NG.

I betcha this guy will go on reddit or hf or whatever to whine about getting beat up by Flames fans for just cheering on his NG Nucks. AND the Calgary finest get in on the action by arresting him.
