^^ Bollig has been fantastic... guys like Engelland and Bollig took a lot of crap in the regular season, but they have been GOLD in the playoffs

Walking north on 4th street SE after the game and saw two suits waiting at the corner of 11 ave. They stuck out like a sore thumb -- turns out they were Hughson and Simpson, probably walking to their hotel.
Was really tempted to follow them and give them an earful about Hughson's homerism and the whole Eddie Lack Dad/Legend drivel, but thought better of it. Didn't want to give Flames fans a bad name -- we don't troll like Canuck "fans".

Trevling had a good off season. Looking back at how ridiculed some of the moves were they were great. Bollig, Raymond and Egelland all great contributers

Only caught a bit of them the last couple games. It is clear to me, however, that Kypreos and Hrudey both do not care for how the Canucks play.
I sympathize...

Did you not watch the LA game? He took several massive cross checks from Regehr and looked in obvious pain.
Pretty clear he's hurt.

I would say the same thing that was "wrong" with Iginla against Detroit in 2004. The Canucks are keying on those three so closely - and vice versa - that both lines are really bogging down. The only guys who are doing much of anything are the slippery ones - Gaudreau for us, and the Sedins for them.
But our secondary scoring showed up. I mean, Brandon Bollig? The trade was worth it for that goal alone!

Yeah, my voice is already starting to crack from all the cheering. That was my first playoff game and was it ever worth the wait. The crowd was crazy. Had a blast cheering for the Flames and then jeering Eddie Lack with the Eeeddiiiiee chants. Great night.

This is exactly what Treliving got them for. Guys who have been on winning teams and know how to prepare. I don't think it is any coincidence that both have stepped their games up as the games get more important.

Wow, I am glad I could say 'I was there.' I don't know if watching on TV was enough of an indicator of how Ferland was brutalizing the dirty Canucks. He got the second star, but the kid should have been all 3. He single handeldy threw them so off their game plan, they never had a chance. What a beauty. This is the kind of player you need to win championships. And the Canucks don't have anything close besides that twerp Burrows, who takes runs at 5'6" teenager sized players, and pulls hair.
Canucks fans.... You should be ashamed you cheer for such a punk.
Now I hope I get my voice back. But taking my dad to see that is worth sounding like Harvey Firestein for the next week. What a great memory to have with him.
Just. Awesome. I love this team.
