So, Burrows with the instigator in the last 5 minutes gets suspended unless rescinded, right? Just like Engelland?

They'll probably tit for tat the rescinded suspension bit but who knows...

The difference is, Burrows actually instigated a fight, where Engelland didn't.

They really should not take it away, but it's the NHL so they probably will.

For those upset by Edmonton sucking and being rewarded yet again I say who cares if they got McDavid??? We have the Hartley coached Flames and its amazing!! Burrows should be given a game for the instigator, he had 3 punches thrown before Russell even dropped his gloves, Beserkisa is a dumb dumb and Hamhuis should be given at least one game for that hit if not two. Willie should also be considered for a fine as well IMO. Great game by all 4 lines - Raymond is a better option than Granny right now, he had a good game along with the rest of the 4th line. Bring on Tuesday!!! Proud of the Flames and proud of that crowd! Insane loud haha!!

I like Hamhuis, but what an idiot. He deserves at least a game. 3rd man in and now a completely blatant headshot. Let's put a stop to it here.

Aaron Ward on TSN "The Flames were, at times, toying with the Vancouver Canucks."

That ain't biased, rose coloured glasses wearing CP, that's a national broadcaster

REQUEST!

Can anybody find a decent quality Ferland image from tonight's game and post it or PM it to me?!

I would be oh so thankful!

My Canuck fan "friends" are seriously wondering where the Flames found Michael Ferland. They're pissed a rookie with 26 pro games is getting under the skin so much. And they also think that the hit on Gaudreau was "clean."

If you would have told me before the series that this team would be up 2-1 with the top line stone cold, I would not have believed you. This team has an incredible ability to throw up new difference-makers, usually young guys, whenever they're needed. I've never seen anything like it.

Kudos to the fans at the dome tonight. Absolutely electric, hostile environment. I didn't even see many Canucks fans in the crowd like there normally is. Great work fans!

Michael Ferland with a full beard is going to be a terrifying man to play against.

Yep, it's kinda crazy. If the top line starts going the Canucks are in real trouble. Long ways to go, though.

So glad the Flames got matched up with the Canucks in the first round. After such poor play in game 2, the cheap shots from them at the end kickstarted the team for this one. I expect more of the Flames inspired play in game 4, and of course more cheapshots from the Canucks.
