Between this and the incident with Stajan the other night, Richardson has gone from a guy I really didn't care about at all, to one of the more despicable players on their team. Right now, if I had to grade the detestableness of their players it would be:

Burrows
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Bieksa
.
.
.
.
Richardson
Dorsett
Hamhuis

Just no honor in that team. It's pervasive throughout the organization.

Had to turn down the volume as Hughson and Simpson were killing me. Was there any update on Lack's dad or how the Legend of Lack is progressing. Statues being erected yet?

God I love this team. Is it ok if I say that this team is even more likeable than the 2003-2004 team?

Cancusk are such pieces of trash. Flames lose, they fight fair, give you time to set. ####ing cheap ass Canucks, throw before punches are even off.

Bieksa is going to get his.

Didn't think it was that bad a hit. Nothing more than the 2 min boarding he got... but I think his instigator should stand and he'll be suspended anyway. Not sure how Bieksa didn't get a game misconduct either.

Ferland's a beast! Man, the second and 3rd lines are just Canuck killers. And that Gaudreau, the Flames need to get someone playing with him on that first line.

If the Flames continue to hit the Canucks hard the next game, it's one step closer to ending the series. THat was awesome tonight - 3 periods of solid hockey!

Throughout their recent (and past) history, the Canucks have been mentally weak...the definition of front runners (as are their fans!)...things go against them, and they melt down.

In the game thread, I had mentioned that Bieksa and Hamhuis are prone to retaliating, and they did again tonight. You can add Edler to that statement too...

It is easy enough to get them off their game...Ferland did it tonight...they just can't seem to handle "Pest" players (think Bolland in series against my guys)...and Ferland has more physical presence than that.

THEIR "pest" player...Burrows...lacks the self-discipline for the role...and ends up HURTING his team, instead of actually getting into the heads of the opponents.

Good game...Good Win for your guys...I hope they keep it up.

Thanks again for letting me hang, here at CP...I hope both our teams are still alive in the Playoffs, when I can chat live, next weekend! Working 2nd shift means I don't get to watch weekday games live.

Lots of thoughts, the scoreboard didn't show how dominant the Flames were, this should have been 6-2 or 7-2 #legendoflack.

While the shots were pretty even the Canucks didn't have a lot of quality scoring chances.

The Canucks looked like they were blown up by the third period and they're not a young team at all. If the Flames crank up the hitting on Tuesday I don't know if the Canucks will have a response.

I've lost complete respect for Desjardins. He clearly told the Canucks to target the Flames better players and we saw two what I consider to be hits to injure. We also saw a real cheap shot by Edler on Ferland and then Bieksa basically jumping him. Bieksa might want to be suspended because a guy like Ferland having his number is dangerous.

Calgary had 33 hits to Vancouvers 18 and the Calgary stats guys are always conservative when it comes to hits.

Bennett is going to be a star in the league. He's got great offensive instincts and he's got the physical game that Johnny Hockey doesn't have.

The Canucks should be looking at three suspensions Burrows and Bieksa got instigators in the last 5 minutes. Hamhuis could be looking at multiple games for a blatant hit to the head.

If the Flames come out with the same hitting game and intensity in game three I feel pretty good about our chances. The Flames gas tank is a lot bigger and younger then the Canucks.

Huge props to wanna be rasta hair extension girl behind the Canucks bench. I'm sure she's a bandwagon fan, I bet that's her first game but every time the camera panned to the Canucks bench she was singing, dancing, having fun and getting involved. We all can't be hardcore nerds.

Also Hughson had a good game call today, almost flames slanted. Simpson wasn't great but more just poor than homerriffic.

Didn't distract from the game

With the way Bieksa has been playing, we probably shouldn't want him to get suspended.

Ferland has done such an awesone job of getting under the skins of the Canucks.
