Canucks fans have figured out how to win this series:

If you would use Baertschi in that scenario, why not now? I just see how much of a difference a player like Bennett made last night, and think that the Canucks have a player who could have the same type of effect against the flames.
Would I put Baertschi in against the kings? No.
Against the Flames? I'd have him on the second line with Bonino and Burrows (move Vrbata up to the first line)
I don't think the Sedin' are going to see more ice time. I remember watching a preview of the series (I think it was sportsnet with their "playoff schedule reveal" show) and both the media and the Canucks kept trotting out that they can roll all four lines. There were even specific interviews of players saying that rolling four lines will be key to make sure Daniel and Henrick are not overworked and they are more effective when the play less minutes. The thought behind that is they can be more dangerous and explosive with a little more rest (quality over quantity sort of thought).
It will be interesting to see if this is their true philosophy or if that was just media hype. However, based on their ice time and comments after the game, it appears this might be their strategy. Interested to see what comes of game two.

I would say those fan charts are a huge troll job. I'm from Saskatchewan, there aren't many Canuck fans around my circle. Almost everybody I know is rooting for the Flames. Even if they are edmonton, Montreal, and Toronto fans. It doesn't seem to matter. I work on a crew with 47 guys not one of them are cheering for Vancouver. Because they are no good.......
