I hope we pick up Petry as a UFA this offseason. Fantastic player.

Not very smart to say this...

Dave Cameron says "it's an easy solution" on Subban. Either he gets suspended or one of their best players gets slashed.

For context I added the last part of Cameron's quote which was omitted.

Well Cameron is pretty pissed. Karlsson also took a huge slash at the end of the game.

That was such a needless slash; how stupid can you be?

Why does a player have to be grievously injured for it to be suspend-able? Looks pretty obvious that Subban's intent was to injure Stone there.
Also it doesn't mean that Stone was faking intense pain just because he was back in the game later. I'm sure the 2 minutes was spent injecting a bunch of Marcaine into his wrist to hide the pain so he could get back out there in some capacity.

@ian_mendes: Mark Stone on Subban slash: "He tried targeting me a few times after face-offs in the first period. He knew what he was doing."

Seems funny to me that the Habs are supposed to be the diving wussies and the Sens the tough team that plays the right way, yet Ottawa's spent the first two periods flopping around and faking hurt.

Mods, can you please remove this idiot's avatar? He doesn't deserve to have anything associated with the Flames.

A 5 minute major means intent to injure or dangerous play. It's an automatic ejection either way. He's suggesting retaliation to the point one of his guys gets ejected. Just not smart. Now his guys will be significantly more scrutinized by the refs throughout this series, and if any retaliation does occur, he might get suspended.
He's mostly pissed they threw away a must win considering the Habs were without 2 or their 3 best players for virtually the entire game and Price was average. The slash was idiotic but not suspension worthy. Missing 50 minutes of a game is pretty close to a 1 game suspension right there. But Ottawa blew it and couldn't take advantage.

Honestly didn't think the slash was that bad. Sounds more like whiny talk from a bunch of playoff rookies. It was a dumb play but I thought 5 and a game was excessive.

NHL discipline chief Stephane Quintal confirms P.K. Subban not facing any more discipline for slash on Stone. Penalty last night sufficed.

Meh, I'm happy about this for the good of the series. My guess is Stone will be ok as well. This should amp things up.

NHL won't fine Senators head coach Dave Cameron but certainly will be a chat/warning about his comments from last night

Oh man, a fractured wrist? That's terrible for the Sens.
edit: So much for calling him a faker.

Subban could have literally decapitated Stone and some Habs fans would have called him a faker.
Unfortunately (and as demonstrated last night), some fans are also more than happy to use racist language to criticize Subban.
A great deal of idiocy has surrounded an idiotic play by Subban.

When I saw the incident, I told myself not to go on Twitter. I just knew how that would play out. Humans are terrible.
But we can all agree on one thing - THIS guy didn't get laid last night:

I believe a microfracture is not a bone break and typically more of a wear & tear situation on that bone that may have been caused over the course of several slashes or other sorts of contact on his wrist.
